ˆ Back to Top |
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Parents’ Club Board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Relations positions. The reason I tell you this is that in April, the Board two-year terms are up and we will be holding Elections at the April meeting for all Board positions. Every position on the Board needs a nomination and then the nomination goes to a vote. Every Parent here at St. Celestine is a member of Parents’ Club and has a vote. If you are interested in any of the Board positions or have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me.
The next two meetings are:
- March 2, 2010 at 7 pm
- April 13, 2010 at
7 pm - NEW TIME: 8 pm
The April meeting has been changed to the 2nd Tuesday of the month due to Easter Break. Please note that the TIME has also been changed to 8 pm. There will be free babysitting available at these meetings.
Parents’ Club has been a very successful organization due to the tremendous support we receive from the parents of the school. Please continue to show your support and give your input at these next meetings.
God Bless,
Jackie Mescolotto, Parents’ Club President

3rd Annual Cubs Outing Ticket Sale Form in Adobe Reader (pdf - 31 KB)
The Parents’ Club has once again secured a limited number of Cubs tickets for the Monday night game on April 26, 2010. It is a 7:05 pm game against the Washington Nationals. This game is our first night game as we were not on Easter break this year to plan a day game. Come and enjoy Wrigley Field with your family and friends in the evening. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the game. The tickets are $16.00 each.
I have been told that our seats are located in Terrace Reserve 200 sections. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first-served basis and we have sold out very quickly in the past. A letter will be in the Parish Bulletin (Parish Website) selling the tickets. If you are interested, please fill out the form above and send back to school with your check made payable to St. Celestine Parents’ Club. Tickets will not be sent home until a couple weeks before the game.

WELCOME ALL TO THE
2009 - 2010 SCHOOL YEAR
We would like to tell you a little about the Parents’ Club Organization here at St. Celestine School. Everyone that has a child here at St. Celestine School is a member of Parents’ Club.
Parents’ Club is the organization of the school that sponsors the fundraising.
We have been able to accomplish many things here at St. Celestine due the commitment level of the parents and parishioners or our School / Parish. Some of the things that are sponsored by the Parents’ Club are the Fashion Show, Silent Auction, Fun Fair, Santa’s Workshop, Book Fair, Teachers Luncheon, the S.T.O.P. Program, Special Lunches for the students and Russell’s/ Culvers Night, just to name a few.
We have been able to raise funds to add the preschool room, update the computer lab, refinish chalk boards in the classrooms, add promethean white boards in two classrooms, science cabinets in two classrooms, give the classrooms portable CD players and DVD players where needed. These are only a few of the many accomplishments of the Parents’ Club.
We hold our meetings the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in the Lower Meeting Room. These meetings usually last about one hour and free babysitting is provided.
